To get the job you'll have to beat some 40,000 applicants from around the world.

Your boss,Tourism Australia's Andrew McEvoy.

"We're looking for passionate people who can tell a great story and are willing to soak up everything Australia can throw at them. Youth travel to Australia is big business. 26 percent of our visitors are under the age of 30 and they spend in excess of 12 billion dollars a year, so it's a really important category of visitor for the industry of Australia." Said Andrew McEvoy

Which is why Andrew and his Tourism Australia team created the 6 best jobs in the world campaign - they want every under 30 year old on the planet looking to Aus for a working holiday. And it will probably work - it did for tourism Queensland in 2009.

4 years ago, Briton Ben Southall won Tourism Queensland's competition to become an ambassador to the Great Barrier Reef. he jagged this house, this was his office and these were his new high profile friends.

For Ben, the job launched a world of opportunities. He is now the face of the new campaign.

It's been estimated the campaign, in which Ben starred, raised Tourism Queensland $200 million dollars in free publicity. Tourism Australia is hoping for similar success.

Media and PR Commentator, Mumbrella's Tim Burrowes says "I think it will be effective, it will be very interesting to see over the next 48 hours or so, how much pr it gets in other markets around the world because that's the test.

If i was running the campaign, I'm afraid i wouldn't let Australians enter because the whole idea is to showcase Australia to the rest of the world, that's what it's all about so, of course, you want that to be seen from a visitor's eyes." Said Tim

But the good news is it is open Aussies

"I think if you are going to apply for one of these best jobs you have to be creative energetic and you have to show your enthusiasm to travel Australia and that will get you close to the best job in the world." Said Ben
