They're W.A's jewels, competing for the crown. The 'Wonders of Western Australia' on the 'World Wide Web'.

In the RAC's first ever online poll, Kinglsey Dawes, says 101 iconic attractions are all jostling for top spot.

"Over the last four months we've had 15,000 votes and 100,000 individual visits to the website from people all over the world".

Those majestic creatures, which effortlessly sail by our shores.

Number 9 - The eclectic colour of a portside city, historic Fremantle.

Number 8 - The island paradise right on our doorstep, Rottnest Island.

Number 7 - Cape Le Grande. The glorious National Park in our golden outback.

Number 6 - An ancient land. Karijini National Park.

Number 5 - Taste of down south. The world renowned food and wine from our South West.

Number 4 - A town with a terrifying title, Shark Bay. An underwater wonderland.

Number 3 - The stunning Kimberley Coast where crystal clear water laps onto red rock.

Number 2 - It's the world renowned reef saved from developers. Ningaloo Marine Park.

And finally, the top tourist destination as voted by you. A place that's almost alien. It's the Bungle Bungles. Those mysterious mountains in the most isolated landscape on earth.

From the very very top all the way to the very bottom these are the spectacular wonders you'll only find in W.A.

The RAC will publish the top 101 destinations Thursday morning 12/02/2009.
