For these sick kids Col Reynolds is Santa. A guardian angel, a special, gift giving uncle...and motivator all rolled into one smiling package.

But Col is much more than that...

He's also the founder of the ONCOLOGY CHILDREN'S FOUNDATION. A charity that has raised more than six and a half million dollars for children's cancer research.

Money that will finds answers to cancers.

It all began 25 years ago. Col then a tourist coach driver felt moved by kids dying from cancer.

He approached hospitals to take them out and give them a day of life.

It led to day trips, snow trips, weekends away in the bush and for the first time in years of suffering...a child's rare happiness.

Col founded the oncology children's foundation and brow-beat big business into providing financial support. Since then he's raised more than 6-million dollars for cancer research.

That's enabled Professor Peter Gunning, the head of research at Westmead hospital to undertake world breaking research using gene therapy to treat incurable brain tumors.

Col's aim now is to reach 12-million dollars. His one man operation now a growing charity with half a dozen staff. Backed by big business also moved no Infected by Col's desire to make that difference.
