Lady Tradies

For decades, traditional trades have been dominated by men, but now the stereotype of a typical tradie is changing and more women are getting involved.

Wendy Pinch from Lady Tradies Association says with such a high demand for female tradies, she's set up a website advertising where to find them. The website also offers support for women already working, or wanting to enter into the industry.


There's plenty of incentive for females to take up a trade, with the State Government offering four hundred scholarships worth three thousand dollars each, to encourage more women into the industry. For more information, visit:
