Mondays on Seven set to explode

30 January 2007 ---Channel Seven is set to explode next Monday night with an all new line-up of must-see TV featuring the scene that will get the country talking - the explosive orgasm experience from the season opener of DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES.

At 8.30pm, DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES returns for 2007. This new season has captivated the US - with critics hailing it "the best series yet" - and that's easy to understand when you know the first episodes feature a wedding, a death and "that orgasm scene" featuring Bree Van De Camp (played by Marcia Cross).

At 9.30pm, Seven premieres the highly acclaimed US family drama, BROTHERS AND SISTERS. Australia's Rachel Griffiths and former Ally McBeal star Calista Flockhart play sisters in this powerful new series which will partner DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES through 2007.

Kicking off next Monday's line-up at 7.30pm will be Seven's latest success story THE RICH LIST. Last night, the new quiz show debuted with a peak audience of 1.5 million Australians.

Seven's Head of Programme Development Brad Lyons said of THE RICH LIST'S debut: "Andrew O'Keefe and The Rich List team did an extraordinary job last night. To grasp and hold 1.5 million viewers against the toughest of one-off competition is spectacular. We're giving Andrew another crack tonight (Tuesday) and we look forward to next Monday against what will be The Rich List's regular time slot opposition."
