FOOTY WINS IT FOR TEN
Channel Ten Perth won week 29 (week commencing 10 September) of the 2006 official television ratings period by 6.4 share points.
On Thursday night, Seven Perth was leading the week with a 30.2 share with Ten in second place on a 25.6 share. However two big nights of AFL telecasts involving the Fremantle Dockers and the West Coast Eagles - both in "do or die" semi-finals - drew in huge audiences for Ten.
The results were:

SEVEN 26.6
NINE 20.2
ABC 15.8
This year Seven Perth has won 34 of the 37 weeks and 27 of the 29 weeks of official ratings.
