Sunrise: what will they do in 2006?

Another huge year is planned for Australia's number one breakfast show Here's a sneak peak at what you can expect in 2006:

  • The Sunrise Family Loyalty Club – sign up to become a member of the Sunrise Family. Members will receive special discounts and offers, tickets to VIP concerts and newsletters from the Sunrise team. Best of all, it's free!
  • The Sunrise Concert Series CD - a dual disk which features live performances from some of Australia and the world's biggest bands when they performed on Sunrise. The Sunrise Concert Series will continue in 2006 with all the big names performing live on stage in Sydney's Martin Place.
  • The Winter Olympics, Torino – Sunrise Sports Presenter Mark Beretta and Sunrise reporter Monique Wright are heading to Italy to bring viewers all the action both on and off the snow. Mark will do live daily competition updates while Monique will present viewers with a real taste of life in Italy.
  • Commitment to News – from 30 January Sunrise will include news headlines every 15 minutes between 6am-7am. Sunrise reporter Simon Reeve will also be on standby to report exclusively for Sunrise from news hotspots around Australia and the world.
  • Entertainment – Sunrise will bring you all the gossip live from the Golden Globes, Oscars and Grammy's. Hollywood correspondent Nelson Aspen, music guru Molly Meldrum and Sunrise reporter Monique Wright will bring viewers all the action from the big red carpet events.
  • Sunrise All Stars – there will be plenty of new faces joining the Sunrise family in 2006. Each morning at 7:20am, well known media identities will go head-to-head to discuss the day's big issues. There is bound to be fireworks and differing views!
  • Grant Denyer – Australia's favourite weather guy is on the road again in 2006 visiting different parts of the country every week and spreading a bit of Sunrise love. As well as bringing viewers the latest weather, you'll see another side to Grant when he begins competing in Dancing with the Stars starting in February.
